la duchesse 24.jpg

La Duchesse 2024

This perlant Perry is made from Duchesse D’Angoulême dessert pears from Kent with a small quantity of true Malus sylvestris apples from the North Downs. It has a vinous texture, with bright acidity and all but dry, this brings feelings of sunny summer days on windswept heaths to mind. As far as we know, nobody else makes a Perry from this pear variety.

Tea & Two Slices 2024

Tea and Two Slices perry is the all and the everything. This is made with what’s left when all else has been sectioned off into this thing or that thing. Spontaneously fermented, this still perry is unrefined and unapologetic. Normally it’s a cider, but in 2024 what we had left over was perry, so here it is. Take it or leave it, if you don’t drink it, we’ll drink it ourselves.

Weird Sisters 2024

Weird Sisters cider was made a slightly different way this year. The base cider was fermented to dry, then bottled late summer 2025 with fresh pear apple juice and disgorged to finish. It is a light, crisp, early season pressing, sunny autumn morning in a bottle. Aromatic and fruity, the story it tells is not a complicated thing, honey, peaches and cream. Medium-dry on finish, there is a small amount of residual sugar. Chill before opening.

baht at 24.JPG

baht at 2024

baht at is a sparkling rhubarb and apple confection, conceived in Cornwall but looking towards a mystical northern triangle. A 2023 rhubarb wine was bottle conditioned with fresh Colloggett Pippin juice in 2024 to produce something astringent and oxalic, but with a malic twang and a light tannic finish from the apple.
