Weird Sisters 2023

Weird Sisters cider is a light, crisp, bottle-conditioned early season pressing, sunny autumn morning in a bottle. Aromatic and fruity, the story it tells is not a complicated thing, honey, peaches and cream. Medium-dry on finish, there is a small amount of residual sugar.

Quietude 2023

Quietude is a still, light, fresh and juicy table cider with a mild acidity which tails into a soft, tannic finish. Very easy drinking and undemanding, this cider would do well to accompany simple meals and relaxed conversation.

Tea & Two Slices 2023

Tea and Two Slices cider is the all and the everything. This is made with what’s left when all else has been sectioned off into this thing or that thing. All wild fruit and all wild fermented, this still, medium-dry cider has a tang of Atlantic minerality from Cornish coastal apples, is unrefined and unapologetic. This year, it's a bit of a beautiful tannic monster, but we love it. Take it or leave it, if you don’t drink it, we’ll drink it ourselves.

Longarm 2023

Longarm cider is made with mostly Cornish dessert varieties such as Cornish Gillyflower and Red Roller and a small amount of Black Dabinett from a small orchard in Porthallow. However, in 2023 some of the trees were blind. Fortuitously, we were offered a load of quince, which was macerated with the apple pomace for 24hrs before pressing. Spontaneously fermented, this still cider presents with the perfume of the quince and a dry, tart vinous finish. Light, crisp and aromatic. Chill lightly before serving.

colloggett pippin 23.JPG

Colloggett Pippin SV 2023

Single variety, still cider. Colloggett Pippin, also known as Cornish Giant is one of the largest cider varieties, in some instances making fruit as big as a cantaloupe melon, which is apt because there’s a hint of that in the cider. It’s also tart with a long tannic finish. Best served cellar temperature.

pear apple pet nat.JPG

Pear Apple Pet Nat SV 2024

It’s not a blend of apples and pears, it’s a cider plain and simple. Actually it’s a single variety cider made with pear apple, a variety rediscovered by James Evans & Mary Martin as a single tree growing in a derelict orchard in Golant and named because it looks like a pear. Imaginative. To the best of our knowledge, we are the only producers making a single variety cider with these apples. We will definitely be making more. It’s dry and still with a lovely round, tannic middle, pairs very nicely with strong cheese. Fresh as a spring breeze. This iteration is in addition to our normal bottling – there was a load of this fruit around for the 2024 harvest, so we decided to try it a pet nat.

This is the result. There’s also the normal still bottling, but we hope you

enjoy the fizz!
